quaint and fairly clean hotel, awesome views of the ocean and the garden with palm trees and flowers. amazing breakfast, tasteful queen room. many things to like: exceptionally comfortable bed, freshly made food, very-very nice staff. the location was great and stunning - walk from cafes and bars. it also was walk from a waterfall and a lush forest.

Can recommend for a couple of nights

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a lovely sea view and an enjoyable breakfast made our stay nice, complemented by easy access via a short flight and a quick taxi ride.

Could not be improved in any way.

It was like I was an inconvenience to them every time I asked a question. The location was far from the center.

fine views and easy access to nature's beauty

The grounds are beautifully kept with amazing ocean views, and it's just a few steps to the Montezuma Waterfall entrance. My stay in a Double Room Balcony Sea View was relaxing, with a peaceful atmosphere upgraded with a great terrace. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work well , but overall, the experience was pleasant.

I stayed in the Family Room with Side Sea View. The room wasn't super spacious, but it felt cozy and cute. The decor had a nice wooden touch, and the view was lovely. You could hear the ocean, nice and peaceful. Just don't expect anything fancy since it's an older hotel, but it worked for us. It had everything we needed like good water and a hot shower. Pretty comfy for the price!

Staying at Amor de Mar was fantastic. The views from my room, especially from the balcony, were amazing. The sound of the crashing waves and the roaring river created a soothing backdrop. The craftsmanship in the room was excellent, with beautiful hardwoods used throughout. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious and always hit the spot. The hotel has a charming character, but the noise from the main road was quite disruptive at times. ATVs and motorcycles zoomed by frequently, overpowering the sounds of nature. Evening activities felt limited since the hotel doesn't offer dinner or a bar, pushing me to venture into town for nightlife. Despite these issues, I was great.

the staff was helpful, but the bathroom was tiny. the breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit and coffee! plus, the tide pool in the backyard was perfect for relaxing. we had a great ocean view from our balcony, too! !

We had an amazing honeymoon at this tropical hotel! The beautiful garden area was perfect for enjoying sunsets, and the refreshing fridge in our room was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was great, featuring delicious juices and fresh fruit!

Quaint hotel with very nice staff and freshly made food. the queen room comes with individual AC. Tropical decoration adds a nice touch. - Great and stunning location, with cafes and bars within walking distance. - I greatly enjoyed the beautiful area.

Sol, the manager, was very helpful. Wi-Fi was slow at times.
